Minnetonka is wooded, rolling, and custom, most of it built between the 1960s and the 1990s on big shaded lots around Glen Lake, Shady Oak, and the corridors off Minnetonka Boulevard and Highway 7. There’s less cookie-cutter housing here than almost anywhere in the west metro, which means every roof is its own project.

All those oaks and maples are the defining factor. Heavy shade grows moss, holds moisture on north slopes, fills valleys and gutters, and hides hail damage from the ground. After a storm passes through the area, a free inspection is worth the twenty minutes even if the house looks untouched. We photograph everything, tell you plainly whether a claim is justified, and coordinate the adjuster visit if it is. On higher-end homes, we also document material matching so the settlement reflects what replacement actually costs.
