Roofing, Siding & Window Insights for Eagan
Eagan filled in mostly between the 1970s and early 2000s — in Eagan Southwest, roughly 86% of homes were built between 1970 and 1999 — so the city is dominated by split-levels, tri-levels, and 1980s–90s two-stories on wooded, often walkout lots. Early plats like Post Additions and Country Home Heights date to 1949, but the big wave was the townhome, condo, and single-family boom of the late ’80s and early ’90s. A lot of Eagan homes are now hitting their first or second re-roof, and their original builder-grade windows are failing their seals.
On these homes we most often replace mid-life architectural shingles, swap seal-failed windows, and re-side in vinyl, LP SmartSide, or James Hardie. Eagan’s south-Dakota-County location keeps it squarely in the summer hail path, so storm inspections and insurance-claim roof and siding work are among our most-requested Eagan services. We run crews across the south metro every week and we’re about 20 minutes from our St. Paul Park office, so response times here are fast.
We Know Eagan
We’ve been on roofs all over Eagan, and it’s a city we know well beyond the shingles. Our crews know what Friday nights cheering the Eagan Wildcats feel like, and that summer here means Eagan Funfest and weekends out on the trails at Lebanon Hills Regional Park. About 20 minutes from our St. Paul Park office, Eagan is a city our trucks roll through every week — so when you hire us, you’re hiring neighbors who actually know the area, not a crew parachuting in from across the metro.
Recent Storm Damage in Eagan
The Twin Cities metro has been hit by repeated hail and high winds over the past two years, and Eagan sits right in the path. The most recent major event was the June 19, 2026 storm, which drove large hail and damaging winds across the metro. Before that, the July 28, 2025 severe storms brought widespread damaging winds — including a 60 mph gust at MSP — with hail of 1–1.5″ across much of the metro. Spring 2026 added severe hail on April 13, 2026 and a 70-mph-wind, ping-pong-hail outbreak on April 23, 2026, while September 19, 2024 produced hail up to 1.5–2.5″.
Hail and wind damage often isn’t visible from the ground — bruised shingles, granule loss, dented gutters, torn screens and cracked siding can go unnoticed until leaks appear. If any of these storms crossed your Eagan home, a free inspection is the smart first step, and we document everything for your insurance claim.
